Ode to Surf

Twas blustery & cool that day...

Surfheads everywhere kept their eye on the bay
To celebrate this occasion they knew the best way...
to be on the water -
it was a great day to play.
Bosses everywhere knew they had to give in...
to say "no" to this great venture seemed like a sin
Big Blue doesn't often put on this show
"Surfs up" it was time to go!!
So out came the boards, out came the kites
these kindred spirits were longing for flight
A longing went thru some on the shore
if only these bodies weren't to old to soar!!
Beginners were sceptical to say the least...
did they dare venture in to tame the beast
You are a lucky man, little brother...
